Rapper Juvenile's daughter was gunned down along with her mother and sister today TMZ reports,
Anthony Tyrone Terrell Jr. allegedly gunned down his mother, Gwinnett County Sheriff's Deputy Joy Deleston, 39, and her two daughters, Micaiah, 11, and Jelani, 4.
Jelani was Juvenile's daughter. In 2003, the rapper, whose real name is Terius Gray, was arrested for abandonment of a dependent child after a DNA test determined he was the father.
Terrell, a sophomore at Central Gwinnett High School, has been charged with three counts of murder and three counts of aggravated assault. He is currently being held in the DeKalb County Jail.
A rep from Atlantic Records had no comment.
Our condolences goes out to Juve, his family, and the family of his baby's mother...This some crazy shizznett.....

R.I.P. Stephen "Static/Major" Garrett (1976-2008)
Music Writer and Producer Stephen "Static/Major" Garrett has passed away at the age of 28. This is a major loss to the music industry and we send our condolences to his family and loved ones....
Most of your remember him from the trio Play from the 90's, but he worked on and produced tracks for Ginuwine, Aaliyah, Destiny's Child, and Jojo. Hailing from Louisville, Ky, he produced the mega-hit "Are You That Somebody" by Aaliyah off the Dr. Dolittle Soundtrack and made an appearance in the music video. R&B Singer Ne-Yo Arrested!!
Ne-Yo has been arrested in Cobb county, right outside Atlanta according to Bossip.com (whom we don't like...) for reckless driving!!

Beyoncé is going to have the best coach in the biz when she takes on the role of Etta James in Cadillac Records, a forthcoming movie about Etta's life. The legendary singer tells PageSix.com exclusively that she's going to be advising the "Bootylicious" star herself.
"It's a privilege and an honor to have somebody like that girl. I don't think she looks like me, but that's all right. They can fix that up," Etta tells us.
And appearance isn't all Beyoncé will have to work on.
"Oh my god, she's going to have a hill to climb, because Etta James ain't been no angel!" she says.
Producers have informed Etta that she'll get the chance to consult with the 26-year-old Destiny's Child star, giving her pointers on both the acting and the singing — the latter being something the "At Last" singer was most concerned with when she got wind of the casting.
Of her many hits, Etta feels, "I have my own way of putting those songs over, and I was just wondering if Beyoncé could, and my son said, 'They're thinking about how she looks, but mama, she can really sing!'"
It was the Dreamgirls star's performance at the Grammys earlier this month that won Etta over, when Jay-Z's main squeeze rocked "Proud Mary" with Tina Turner.
"I kinda have a man's voice. It's a contralto, more bluesy, religious. I would really like to work with her on that," the 70-year-old songstress says.
Of her life lessons, Etta, who battled heroin addiction for many years, says, "I can tell Beyoncé some things; some of the things I might not tell her."
She does stress that the emotional transformation Beyoncé must undergo will have to be a little intense.
"I wasn't as bourgie as she is, she's bourgeois. She knows how to be a lady, she's like a model. I wasn't like that... I smoked in the bathroom in school, I was kinda arrogant, so those are some of the things I would want to tell her."
The flick will co-star Adrien Brody (reportedly replacing Matt Damon) in the role of music exec Leonard Chess, as well as Cedric the Entertainer and Jeffrey Wright.
The meeting between the divas will be happening soon, as sources tell us filming is scheduled to start on March 10 in New Jersey, with two days on location in Mississippi.
Miss James, many have tried to make Beyonce an actress, none have succeeded, good luck with that task!! While u at it, teach teach that bytch how to properly sing!!

Singer Tank who reportedly abuses his wife (that's just what we heard) reports on him being tasered a couply of days back suggesting that it was racially stimulated...
The most frustrating part of the entire incident is knowing that I did not do anything to pose a threat but was treated like a criminal. With a clean-cut image and a lady by my side, the law took matters into their own hands and chose to endanger my safety and those accompanying me. It’s 2008 and New Orleans is still very much in trouble beyond the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. I’m a living witness...
Only thing is a lot of people died because of our government fuck-up, you just got tasered, which is funny btw....

Up And Coming: Duffy & Liz Wright
OMFG!!! I thought I loved Amy Winehouse but I think i someone's trying to take her spot. I just hear this artist named Duffy out of England and she is exceptional!! She gives off the same vibe as Amy, but a little more polished. I'm diggin this whole 60's throwback vibe this UK artists giving me. Now if only we can get American artists to get like that. We will be doing an artist spotlight next month on her!!

In Movie News: Beyonce and will.I.am set to star in upcoming flicks....
Billboard.com is reporting that B will be star in and executive produce (wow) in the movie "Cadillac Records."
Knowles will play Etta James in the 1950s period filmr about the Chicago record company Chess Records; its founder, Leonard Chess; and the turbulent lives of some of the label's legends, who included Muddy Waters, Little Walter, Howlin' Wolf and Chuck Berry.
A portion of the proceeds from the film will go to the families (again, not her idea) of recovering addicts. Other castmates will include Cedric the Entertainer, Adrian Brody, Jeffrey Wright, and Colombus Short....
They are also reporting that will.I.am will be making his debut in a spin-off of the "X-Men" franchise. His character will be a mutant who has the power to turn translucent (which means clear and able to see through for all u slow bodies.) Hope this works for him cuz going solo sure didn't....

R&B Singer Tank: "Don't Tase Me Bro!"
An inside source has told Bossip about a shocking event that took place last night outside of a New Orleans nightclub. The source, a woman, and Tank were leaving the club and walking to meet their driver when they encountered a police roadblock. Apparently, there’d been a shooting. According to the source, the police were very rude in telling the two that they couldn’t walk through the area. Like a gentleman, Tank spoke up for himself and his lady friend, telling the cops they didn’t have to speak to them in the way they did.
The two were walking away from the scene when out of nowwhere 3 cops tackled Tank and began using tasers on him. He was arrested on a number of counts, including disorderly conduct, and just released on bail moments ago.
This is really messed up. One time in cities across the country are still abusing their power. Something’s gotta give.
Getting tasered is quite funny for me! I wish somebody would find a video!!

Juvenile busted for weed!!
Juve the Dumb got caught with expired tags and later got busted for possession of marajiuana. Dumb ass!!
Juvenile was arrested in Meridian, Miss. yesterday for possession of under an ounce of marijuana. The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department says he was in a car pulled over for expired tags, though it was unclear whether or not he was the one driving.

When Aretha Franklin is unhappy, she does not mince words. On Tuesday, the longtime Queen of Soul slammed Beyonce Knowles' intro to Tina Turner at Sunday's Grammy Awards, in which Knowles called Turner, not Franklin, "the queen."
"I am not sure of whose toes I may have stepped on or whose ego I may have bruised between the Grammy writers and Beyonce," Franklin said in a statement issued by her publicist. "However, I dismissed it as a cheap shot for controversy."
E-mails to Knowles' publicist Yvette Noel-Schure and calls and e-mails to Recording Academy spokeswomen Jaime Sarachit and Barb Deghan were not immediately returned.
In the first few seconds of Knowles' intro to Turner's performance, she name-dropped Franklin and a long list of famed female singers. Then the "Crazy in Love" chanteuse focused on Turner.
"There is one legend who has the essence of all of those things: the glamour, the soul, the passion, the strength, the talent," said Knowles, strutting in hot pants. "Ladies and gentlemen. Stand on your feet and give it up for the queen."
At a party later that night, Knowles called Turner her "ultimate icon."
Still, Franklin ended her brief criticism on a gracious note, thanking the Grammys and the voting academy and saying, "love to Beyonce anyway."
Known for such hits as "Respect" and "Chain of Fools," Franklin tied with the Clark Sisters for best gospel performance trophy for her duet "Never Gonna Break My Faith" with Mary J. Blige.

Mariah is back!!
Mariah Carey is back with her first single "Touch My Body" off of her album tentivelly titled E=MC follow up to the hugely successful album The Emancipation of Mimi. Her label sent out this press release.
The first single from E=MC² is "Touch My Body," written and produced by Mariah Carey, C. "Tricky" Stewart, and The-Dream, and blasting out worldwide on February 12th. The video for "Touch My Body" was directed by feature filmmaker Brett Ratner - internet, cable and network premieres for the video will be announced in the weeks ahead. In addition to C. "Tricky" Stewart and The-Dream, other guest producers joining Mariah on E=MC² will include Jermaine Dupri, DJ Toomp, Stargate, Will I Am, Bryan Michael Cox, Nate "Danjahandz" Hills and James Poyser. E=MC² is executive produced by Mariah Carey and Antonio "LA" Reid, Chairman, Island Def Jam Music Group.

Bill Cosby to Make Hip Hop Album
Word is Mr. Pudding Pops himself will be making a rap CD. We agree with some of what he says, but we don't think this is necessarily the way to go about it....
Bill Cosby - a staunch critic of some rap music - is set to release a Hip-Hop album called State of Emergency, which will be a sanitized, issue-oriented CD.
Sources told AllHipHop.com that the actor, comedian and philanthropist will address issues like proper parenting, teen pregnancy, drug abuse, Black-on-Black crime and the dropout rate in America's high schools.
In 2004, Cosby said in a speech, "Your dirty laundry gets out of school at 2:30 every day, it's cursing and calling each other [the N-word] as they're walking up and down the street. They think they're hip. They can't read. They can't write. They're laughing and giggling, and they're going nowhere."
Cosby's album will not contain any profane language, nor will it offer any denigrating comments towards women.
State of Emergency would be the 35th album for the legendary comedian, actor, who released his first album Bill Cosby is a Very Funny Fellow in 1963.
Whether or not Cosby will work with rappers on his lyrical flow or his musical selection was not known at press time.
