OMFG!!! I thought I loved Amy Winehouse but I think i someone's trying to take her spot. I just hear this artist named Duffy out of England and she is exceptional!! She gives off the same vibe as Amy, but a little more polished. I'm diggin this whole 60's throwback vibe this UK artists giving me. Now if only we can get American artists to get like that. We will be doing an artist spotlight next month on her!!

Lizz Wright has one of the most amazingly rich, substantive voices in music. Listening to it is like curling up with a cup of hot chocolate on a cold winter's day. Lizz is about to drop her third album, The Orchard, on Feb. 26 on Verve Records, and the mostly self-written album reflects her journey through life, starting with her life growing up in the small, rural church town of Hahira, Georgia. She may be technically considered a Jazz artist, but she's got plenty of Soul and Rhythm & Blues in her music as well...
